Walmart is providing this service to make digitizing memories captured on older media convenient for you, especially if you don’t have the technical expertise, equipment, or time to transfer your own media to the latest formats.

Walmart has partnered with Capture whose technology creates a Digital Copy of your ordered items, accessible in your MemoryCloud account. You can also save your transfer order to Google Photos, where you can download, share, and store your old memories with your new ones. The DVDs (if selected) contain “Hollywood-style” features such as background music* and three one-minute music video highlights that are automatically created from scenes of your transferred footage. USBs (if selected) are viewable on any device with a USB port, and files are easy to store, duplicate, and back up Walmart’s goal is to make it easy for you to preserve and relive your favorite moments.
